Paperback. Adelle was never meant to exist in the story. She wakes inside her favorite fantasy webtoon not as the heroine, but as a nameless palace maid-an invisible character destined to fade into the background. Unlike everyone else, Adelle knows how the story is supposed to unfold. She knows who will rise, who will fall, and who is meant to die.All she has to do is remain unseen. But the world reacts to her presence. Small choices bend fate. Familiar scenes repeat with subtle wrongness. The characters she was only meant to observe begin to notice her-especially a guarded prince burdened by destiny, a warm nobleman marked for sacrifice, and the gentle heroine whose future is quietly unraveling. As the boundaries of the story thin and reality begins to fracture, Adelle must confront the cost of caring too much. To save them is to destroy the narrative that once promised meaning. To preserve the story is to abandon the people she has come to love. The Unmade Heroine is a quiet, atmospheric fantasy about displacement, guilt, and the fragile power of choosing to exist in a world that was never written for you.
