A new era of work is here.
Digital Natives — Gen Z and Millennials — now dominate the workforce, and their numbers grow daily. At the same time, experienced workers are retiring in record numbers, taking decades of institutional knowledge with them. And Artificial Intelligence is transforming how we work, learn, and lead.
This convergence creates the greatest challenge and opportunity of our careers. Organizations that figure out how to connect with, develop, and retain Digital Natives while harnessing AI to preserve what matters most won't just survive this transformation — they'll define the future of work.
Unlocking Next Gen Talent is a practical guide for leaders, HR professionals, and managers ready to stop battling generational friction and start building organizations where every generation contributes its best work.
Part I: Understanding Digital Natives goes beyond stereotypes to explore what actually drives Millennials and Gen Z at work — from purpose and transparency to career development, flexibility, and identity. Drawing on dozens of podcast interviews, global surveys from Deloitte and McKinsey, and case studies from organizations like Cisco, Unilever, and Google, this section reframes "dealing with" younger workers as the leadership opportunity it actually is.
Part II: Bridging Generations in a Digital World shows how to operationalize that understanding through human-centered knowledge transfer strategies, a 10-skill "Human Edge Playbook," and AI-powered workflows that capture institutional wisdom before it walks out the door — featuring real implementations from McKinsey, Schneider Electric, Michelin, and more.
Because Digital Natives aren't problems to manage — they're the key to unlocking both human potential and technological possibility.
What you'll find inside:
- The VIBES framework for understanding Digital Native expectations
- 10 cross-generational "power skills" no AI can replicate
- AI workflows for knowledge capture and enterprise-scale transfer
- Case studies from organizations across industries and around the world
- Strategies you can implement Monday morning — not theory you'll forget by then
