DISCOVER THE KEY TO YOUR CHILD'S EDUCATION AND FUTURE.
Your child's leaning style is as individual as his or her fingerprints. And the better you understand that style (a combination of aptitudes, strengths, and weaknesses), the more you can help your child have successful leaning experiences and encourage his teachers to do the same.
Unlocking Your Child's Learning Potential will help you discover your child's learning and intelligence strengths, find out how to capitalize on those strengths, and understand how your own style affects your approach to your child's learning. A surprising number of students in any classroom have a learning style different from that of their parents or teacher, writes Cheri Fuller. But that in no way means that your "learning different" child is "learning disabled."
The fact is, learning different students-such as Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Eleanor Roosevelt, and others-are often among the most intelligent and gifted in the class. But those gifts can go unrecognized for years if the curriculum is taught in such a way that your child finds it difficult to learn. The practical suggestions and creative study strategies in Unlocking Your Child's Learning Potential will help you, your child, and your child's teachers make school appeal to your child's unique way of processing information and give her the tools she needs for a lifetime of successful learning.
