"University Hymns: With Tunes Arranged for Men's Voices" is a meticulously curated collection designed to elevate the spiritual and musical life of academic communities. Compiled and arranged by Harry B. Jepson, this volume specifically addresses the harmonic requirements of male choruses and congregations within a university setting. The work features a diverse selection of traditional hymns, providing robust and resonant arrangements that capture the solemnity and communal spirit of collective worship.

The arrangements focus on the unique vocal range and tonal qualities of men's voices, ensuring that each piece is both accessible for group singing and musically satisfying for formal performances. Spanning a wide array of theological themes and liturgical needs, the hymns included serve as a testament to the enduring tradition of sacred music in higher education during the early twentieth century. This collection remains a valuable resource for choral directors, church musicians, and historians of hymnology. Its clear notation and thoughtful settings make it an essential reference for those seeking to preserve the dignity of congregational singing in institutional and religious contexts.
