Like the Klose book for clarinet and the Arban book for trumpet, this is the "standard" method for saxophone. It includes 320 pages of exercises, etudes, solos, duets, cadenzas, text, etc. A must for serious saxophonists!

About the Author
Musician and instructor Paul DeVille published a series of Carl Fisher self-instruction books between 1893 and 1906, including guides for accordion, concertina, banjo, flute, clarinet, guitar, mandolin, trombone, piano, and violin. He noted in a Preface that the saxophone -- a relative newcomer, invented in 1840 -- was his favorite instrument.
