On the crystal world of Aeonys, peace is preserved by distance. For generations, an ancient law has bound Earth and Aeonys together-uniting two worlds while forbidding their people from crossing the one line that matters most: love. But when she and Jonah fall into a forbidden love, their quiet defiance ignites a reckoning neither world is prepared for.Watched by council elders, hunted by political forces on both sides, and bound by duty as much as desire, Jonah and Yara must decide whether love is worth risking exile, ruin-or the collapse of an alliance that has kept the stars at peace. As ancient laws crack and a divided world holds its breath, two hearts will stand where no one ever has before.Because sometimes, the only thing strong enough to change a worldis the courage to choose one another. On the crystal world of Aeonys, peace is preserved by distance.
For generations, an ancient law has bound Earth and Aeonys together-uniting two worlds while forbidding their people from crossing the one line that matters most: love. As Earth's youngest envoy, Jonah Wren is sworn to uphold that fragile balance, even when it demands personal sacrifice.
Yara has spent her life serving Aeonys and its laws, believing order is the price of survival. But when she and Jonah fall into a forbidden love, their quiet defiance ignites a reckoning neither world is prepared for.
Watched by council elders, hunted by political forces on both sides, and bound by duty as much as desire, Jonah and Yara must decide whether love is worth risking exile, ruin-or the collapse of an alliance that has kept the stars at peace.
As ancient laws crack and a divided world holds its breath, two hearts will stand where no one ever has before.
Because sometimes, the only thing strong enough to change a world
is the courage to choose one another.
Nicolas Noble writes science fiction driven by human consequence, moral tension, and the cost of progress. His stories explore first contact, forbidden bonds, political fault lines, and the fragile line between order and freedom-where technology advances faster than wisdom and individuals are forced to choose who they become. Blending classic sci-fi traditions with character-centered storytelling, Noble delivers thoughtful, high-stakes futures grounded in emotional truth.
