Review
Chris d'Lacey keeps the twists and revelations coming at just the right pace and nicely counterpoints Michael's spooky adventures with the bathos of schoolwork, boy-girl relationships and domestic difficulties. (Financial Times)
You will love both the male and female characters in the book as they are well represented and well written. They are not written about in too much detail, which gives them a sense of mystery, and the character dialogue is just enough without detracting from the story ... This is a quick paced walk down the fantasy paranormal; a journey of action, reality and a spoonful of the dark and mysterious. It is a well plotted story for fans who enjoy exploring their imagination. (Mr Ripley's Enchanted Books)
A whopping adventure with some thrilling chases, heart-racing paranormal moments, unexplained criminal activity, a robot with the unlikely name of Gustav Klimt, a secret enterprise called UNICORNE and Michael, a great schoolboy hero, at its heart. (LoveReading4Kids) ---
