Trade Paperback. This is a topical step-by-step introduction to the UK economy designed for first and second year undergraduate courses in macroeconomics. This book offers a comprehensive discussion about the key UK economic issues and institutions in a blend of macro theory and policy. The authors emphasize the problems of unemployment and inflation throughout. There is a detailed account of the UK institutional framework; the authors integrate this material into the wider discussion in order to simnplify an often baffling and difficult area in economics. Students with little or no mathematical bias will find the book readable and accessible. However, for the mathematical minded, several appendices give rigorous mathematical treatment to various questions in the text. 394 pp. (We carry a wide selection of titles in The Arts, Theology, History, Politics, Social and Physical Sciences. academic and scholarly books and Modern First Editions ,and all types of Academic Literature.).
