Are you tired of being tired? Do you feel you don't have enough time to relax to get the radiant rest you so desperately need?
It's a proven fact that we perform better when we get enough rest. Rest is resistance to the stress we face every day. But what is rest really?
If you’re a typical career person, you might already be stuck in the stress cycle…. According to Indeed, 52% of all workers suffer from burnout. This can happen when we lack rest.
And the figure is on the rise…despite all the technological advancements meant to help us.
Nowadays, people seem to spend their health chasing wealth, only to spend all their wealth chasing health.
This timely guide reveals science-backed methods to help you understand how to relax and design a better work-life balance.
In this book of rest, you’ll discover:
- Why rest is good for us, and what different types of rest there are
- The difference between rest and leisure activity and what it means for your health
- How to use rest as resistance to the burnout epidemic affecting so many of us
- Why we sleep, and facts about the effects of gadgets on sleep and mental health
- Why sleeping too much is just as harmful as not getting enough sleep, and how to sleep better - better sleep, better you!
- The benefits of exercise on mental and physical health
- Why guilt- and worry-free hobbies are the key to emotional and social health
- The surprising ways your hobby can enhance your career
- Your guide to forest bathing and how to tap into the remedying properties of nature
- How to get into the time-proven practices of meditation to reduce stress and regain control
- The powerful benefits of breathing habits and how to breathe right
- Why “work hard, play harder” may be a misguided motto, and why you get more done when you work less
And much more.
It’s normal to feel the pressure of work and life. The fear that your goals will slip by or your competitors will leave you in the dust the moment you stop.
But this is more likely to happen if you don't get enough rest and are not able to relax, and it leads to health issues!
It’s a proven fact that the more refreshed we are, the better we perform.
So, imagine the advantages of getting enough rest and having enough time to relax instead of constantly battling stress.
If you’re eager to learn how to use rest as resistance to burnout and stress and revitalize your body and mind, scroll up and grab your copy of Understand How to Rest and Recover in this “Always on” Society now.
