Mixed printings published in 1991 & 1997, eight volume hardcover set with six books sharing a slipcase, and two books individually slipcased. All of the books have has a minor skew to their binding, sunning to their spine, and slight bumps to their spine ends, while a few volumes also have a bit of rubbing or scuffing to the titling on their spine. Additionally, Under the Greenwood Tree has light bumps to its cover corners, and The Trumpet-Major & The Mayor of Casterbridge have a touch of soiling to the top edge of their text block. Overall, this is a solid, bright and tight, Very Good+ set in Very Good slipcases, which all have rubbing to their panels, as well as some shelf wear along their edges, while the large slipcase has scuffing to the edges of its top panel, bumps to the corners, and a split starting at the lower rear seam.
