April 1951.
The Korean War is on the brink of collapse.
As waves of Chinese forces surge through the Kapyong Valley, a handful of outnumbered UN troops are ordered to hold the line—no matter the cost. Australian riflemen dig into shattered hills. Canadian infantry brace for night assaults that never seem to end. Artillery observers call fire danger-close. Tank crews force steel through impossible terrain. Medics work in darkness where every life hangs by a thread.
This is not one battle.
This is twelve.
Told through the eyes of the men who fought it—signallers, gunners, replacements, officers, and those who never expected to become heroes—Under Fire: Kapyong delivers a raw, ground-level account of one of the most desperate defensive stands of the Korean War.
No grand strategy.
No safe distance.
Just survival, duty… and the thin line between holding and breaking.
From the first bugle in the night to the final shots at dawn, this is war as it was lived—minute by minute, hill by hill, man by man.
They were told to hold.
They did.
