Paperback. 'Unburdening a Burden' is a bouquet of 121 devotional sonnets written in simple yet graceful language which hitherto remains unparalleled in the history of English literature for its exquisite beauty, quaint whimsicality and richness of illustration. The style in which the book is written is a model of lucidity and order and the language employed exhibits a chiselled excellence and a well-trimmed form. The emotions expressed in the book are garbed in rich and graceful drapery of language. There is natural grace, classical elegance and pleasing beauty of description. Every word expresses with directness and vividness what is there in the writer's mind. The work has rational cadence, a super-abundant wealth of words and superfluous ornaments. There is irresistible charm of congruity and magnificent evocation transfused with sublimity. Its expository and ratiocinative approach is inimitable. Clarity of thought and felicity of expression adds a deeper crimson to the blooming rose of the work. In points of artistic resources and technical ability such as copious and expressive diction, freshness and pregnancy of verbal combinations and richly modulated expressions, Mr. Raghav's supremacy is indeed assured. His sentences are incomparable for the beauty of their imagery and perfection of Euphonious lucidity. They possess a very delicate music which has seldom been surpassed. Luscious, sublime and endowed with the exhuberance of honeyed harmony, his poems call for appreciation in the strongest terms available for its superb beauty of construction and immaculate presentation. You must read it in order to believe it. Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.…
