A submarine has appeared in the Norwegian Sea.
It should not exist.
And it is making no sound.
When veteran sonar specialist Harry Harrison detects an impossible contact beneath the freezing waters of the North Atlantic, Commander James Setter and the crew of USS Subzero are drawn into a confrontation where nothing can be trusted.
American and Russian submarines are manoeuvring towards one another.
Military orders appear genuine.
Intelligence is contradictory.
And somewhere beneath them, a mysterious submarine known only as Wraith is quietly manipulating events towards a war nobody understands.
For Setter, the problem is no longer identifying the enemy.
It is deciding which orders are real.
As USS Subzero, USS Montana and the Russian submarine Volkov converge beneath the Norwegian Sea, their captains face an impossible choice, obey the commands coming from above, or trust the people they have been trained to fight.
Because someone has discovered that the most dangerous weapon in modern warfare is not a torpedo or missile.
It is trust.
Fast paced, atmospheric and frighteningly plausible, USS Subzero is a modern submarine thriller of deception, loyalty and impossible decisions beneath the freezing waters of the North Atlantic.
Perfect for readers of Tom Clancy, Larry Bond, Patrick Robinson and modern military thrillers.
USS Subzero is Book One of the Jack Setter Submarine Thrillers.
Continue the series with The Silent Boat and The Last Command.
