You will learn how software interacts with flight controllers, how ROS can connect different components of a robotic system, and how PX4 can be incorporated into autonomous UAV workflows.
Inside, you'll learn how to:
-
Apply Python programming to real UAV development
-
Understand UAV software and flight-control architectures
-
Communicate with drone systems and exchange telemetry
-
Develop automated takeoff, landing, and waypoint workflows
-
Work with flight controllers and PX4-based systems
-
Integrate ROS and ROS 2 into UAV applications
-
Process sensor and telemetry information
-
Develop autonomous navigation applications
-
Connect cameras and vision systems to drones
-
Explore computer-vision concepts for UAV applications
-
Build object-detection and tracking workflows
-
Use simulation to develop and test UAV software
-
Design practical Python-based UAV projects
-
Debug and improve drone applications systematically
