Her family is trapped in the Golden City, as all servants who attempt to flee, die. Horribly, by the Master's unseen magic. They've seen it with their own eyes.
The family is torn between trying to escape to find Freya and staying within the great walls, while being slowly seduced by what the City has to offer.
With all communication lost, will Freya find the Ancient before it’s too late to save her family - and Medar?
