Cloth, small 4to, xxi, 135 pp, facs. Approximately 250 entries for each poet. From the text: "The earlier - and sometimes the later - books of both Wordsworth and Coleridge were printed in such restricted numbers, and many of them were of so fugitive a nature, that only at distant intervals do the more uncommon of them creep into the market. Again, many of them were issued in paper boards or wrappers, others without any protecting cover at all, with the result that when required in original state and in fine condition they are far more difficult to procure than are the cloth-bound works of more recent authors. The collection here described claims to be complete, and to include the whole of the first editions of the works of both poets. The occasion is the first upon which a really full and faultless set of the original editions of the writings of either master has been drawn together. I very much doubt whether the achievement will ever be repeated. Both series include unique items, objects of which no other specimens are known to have survived.
