8vo, pp. vi, [ii], 160, [34, ads]. Full-sized illustrations included in pagination, endpapers printed with advertisements. Original grey cloth, spine and front board blocked in gilt, front board blocked in black and rear in blind. Some spotting and light staining. Lightly shaken overall, cloth rubbed and marked, front hinge cracked, rear hinge stained and almost split. Modern bookplate to front pastedown. An early appearance of this technical manual (also found dated 1888), later seen through multiple editions by the Britannia Company, a toolmaker based in Colchester. Seller Inventory # 7006
