“Shelli Joye’s integrative masterpiece, Tuning the Mind, reads like insane science fiction—quantum black holes, a universal center that’s everywhere and nowhere, the dark energy holoflux, and of course, the mysterious Teilhardian isospheres. But the strange thing is, it’s not insane, nor is it fiction. It’s a novel and refreshing scientific take on the role of consciousness in the physical world. Well worth the read.” ——DEAN RADIN, Ph.D., Chief Scientist, Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), and author of Supernormal: Science, Yoga, and the Evidence for Extraordinary Psychic Abilities
“Shelli Joye’s book joins a growing stream of studies that focus on the new understanding of consciousness as a real and significant part of the world, using advanced concepts from quantum physics, holography and the related energy fluxes. It makes a signal contribution to the advance of the field I have called new paradigm consciousness research, and merits the attention of all open and forward looking investigators of the deep dimension of the world, of which consciousness is now recognized to be a principal element.” ——ERVIN LÁSZLÓ, Ph.D., systems theorist and author of The Akashic Experience and Science and the Akashic Field
The non-dual holonomic geometry of consciousness presented in this book is the result of fifty years of direct participatory experience and sustained transdisciplinary research. Herein you will find a totally new paradigm supported by text and numerous diagrams, and here, for serious students of contemplation and the psychophysics of awareness, you will find conceptual tools essential for navigating these vast new dimensions of awareness. The Pribram-Bohm holoflux map draws upon discoveries and theories in the fields of quantum physics and brain research, primarily from the holonomic mind/brain theory put forth by the renowned neurological researcher Karl Pribram, and the cosmology of the Implicate/Explicate articulated by the British quantum physicist David Bohm. It is hoped that you find the information presented in this book both interesting and practical, and we encourage you to join us in this journey. Welcome! ——The author, SHELLI JOYE, Ph.D.
“Not since John Lilly has writing about consciousness exhibited such insight, clarity, and scientific acumen. Dr. Joye has given us a work without equal. It is a truly exciting and deeply informative read.” ——ALLAN COMBS, Ph.D. Director, Consciousness Studies Center, CIIS, author of Consciousness Explained Better and The Radiance of Being
“Insightful, articulate, authoritative, and thought-provoking in the approach to understanding the physics of consciousness. I highly recommend reading Tuning the Mind: Geometries of Consciousness to anyone interested in the physics of consciousness. The clearly written discussions of the work of Karl Pribram and David Bohm are invaluable and set the groundwork for a deeper understanding of heart coherence and heart intelligence.” ——ROLLIN MCCRATY, Ph.D. Director of Research, HeartMath Institute, author of The Coherent Heart: Heart-Brain Interactions
