Neuware - Owen ap Maredudd Tudor is born in the mist-covered hills of Wales and starts out as an ordinary boy of a poor Welsh family still haunted by the failed rebellion of Owain Glyndwr. Fate, though, has other plans for Owen, and soon he finds himself involved in affairs that span continents, from rebel encampments to the ravaged fields of France, ships on distant seas, royal courts, prison, forbidden love, and the deadly intrigues of English politics, Owen's life becomes entwined with the fate of kingdoms. As England slips into chaos, and the kingdom splinters under the weight of ambition, betrayal, and civil war. Owen's steps take him deeper into the corridors of power, and into a world where kings rise and fall, allegiances flicker like shadows, and survival often demands impossible choices, one Welshman's journey will leave echoes far greater than he could ever imagine.Epic in its scope, yet intensely personal in its focus, The Tudor is a sweeping historical epic about warfare, survival, loyalty, identity, and legacy. From the dying embers of the Welsh uprising to the storm clouds brewing over England, it recounts not just the story of one man, but the unlikely origins of a dynasty destined to alter the fate of the world. …
