So you think you love horses? That?s what Sophie Groves thought too. But she found out that horses are a heap of trouble. Her trials began at five years old when her mom brought home Really (a.k.a. Really Mean), the nastiest pony in Maine. Two horses later, Sophie is still learning to deal with these crafty creatures, while trying to find friends who will like her for who she is?not for her horses. Filled with hilarious horse capers and the real truth about life as a weenie, this laugh-out-loud story shows why a horse isn?t always a girl?s best friend.

About the Author
Sarah P. Gibson grew up on an island in Maine. In addition to enduring the agonies of owning a motley trio of horses and trying to make friends, Ms. Gibson also feared sailing tippy boats and skiing down icy mountains. Her love of reading and hatred of math led her to become a librarian, and being stuck on a small island made her yearn to travel. After visiting twenty countries and living in six, she is now back on the island, where she lives with her husband and two children. Learn more about her at www.SarahPGibson.com.
Glin Dibley loves to surf when he’s not busy drawing and painting children’s books for all ages. His fun, quirky style can be seen in such novels as The Stupendous Dodgeball Fiasco by Janice Repka and picture books, such as Tub-boo-boo by Margie Palatini and Kid Tea by Elizabeth Ficocelli. He lives in Huntington Beach, California, with his wife and two daughters.
