nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - ''More True Than Truthful: A Story And A Study'' is a book written by Miriam Clarke and first published in 1887. The book is divided into two parts: a fictional story and a philosophical study. The story follows the life of a young girl named Edith, who is raised by her aunt and uncle after her parents die. Edith is a curious and intelligent girl who struggles to reconcile her own beliefs with those of the society around her. As she grows up, she becomes increasingly interested in the natural world and begins to question traditional religious beliefs. The second part of the book is a philosophical study that explores the themes and ideas presented in the story. Clarke examines the relationship between truth and fiction, and argues that fiction can often be more truthful than non-fiction. She also explores the role of religion in society and the importance of individual belief systems. Overall, ''More True Than Truthful'' is a thought-provoking book that challenges traditional beliefs and encourages readers to think critically about the world around them. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work. …
