You just made three faces reading that. Your friends will make the same faces when you read it to them — which is the entire point of this book.
1000 True Facts That Sound Like Bullsh*t is a collection of a thousand verified facts so strange they feel invented. Every single one survived a fact-check. And here is the part most trivia books skip: when a popular "fact" turns out to be a myth, this book says so instead of repeating it. Legends are labeled as legends. Hypotheses are not sold as discoveries.
Inside you get:
1,000 fact-checked facts across 10 chapters of 100
Animals, the human body, space, plants, culture, technology, geology, food, science and everyday life
Short entries built for reading in any order, one minute at a time
Myths flagged and corrected, not recycled
Fact-checked U.S. edition, fully revised for 2026
It works as a bathroom reader, a coffee table book, a car trip survival kit, or something to open at random when a conversation dies.
It also happens to be the easiest gift you will buy all year. The dad who already owns everything. The friend who corrects people at dinner. The teenager who only looks up from the phone for something genuinely weird. The coworker whose name you drew and whose interests you do not know. This book lands with all of them, because everyone likes being the person holding the fact nobody else believed.
Open it anywhere. Read one out loud. Watch someone argue with you.
