You probably already knew that Mae Jemison was the first black woman astronaut in space (and also a doctor and a dancer), but Sneeze will tell you surprising and absolutely true things that you didn't know, like:
- How Mae wrecked her family's car when she was only two years old
- How Mae learned about sickle cell anemia by asking lots of questions and forming a hypothesis
- What animals and languages you might find in Sierra Leone, where Mae was a Peace Corps doctor and where she met Sneeze
- How Mae became the first real astronaut on the Star Trek TV show
- How astronauts poop, pee, fart, eat, and sleep in space
It's the second book in a series of biographies of American heroes, as told by their devoted but snarky cats, translated from the original Cattish.
