Print on Demand. This book encompasses a collection of poetry spanning three nations and generations, from the Victorian era to the early 20th century. Carefully chosen by three individuals and arranged in three parts according to age appropriateness, the poems introduce readers to the varied tones and styles that characterise English, Scottish, and Irish verse. Part One's simple language and playful themes are ideal for younger readers. Part Two introduces more complex ideas and emotions, and Part Three offers a taste of the literary works that have shaped canonical Western literature. The anthology's title, "The Tripled Crown", is taken from an included poem by Q, referring to the three crowns that form the royal coat of arms for Oxford University, where the compilers were based. This book's careful curation and engaging content make it a valuable resource for English teachers, parents, or anyone looking to expand their literary horizons. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
