Language: English. Approximately 424 pages. English: Print-on-demand reprint. Original edition : 1874. Text in English. This volume presents a trilogy of conversations between three friends discussing the emendations of Shakespeare?s text, particularly those found in Mr. Collier?s corrected Folio of 1632. The work includes a vindication of the Perkins Folio and serves as a comprehensive critique of Alexander Dyce?s editorial work. The second part focuses on the historical play ?King Edward the Third,? arguing for its attribution to William Shakespeare, with a detailed analysis of its authorship and textual history. This edition is significant for its contributions to Shakespearean scholarship and its controversial claims about the play?s origins. Book images are non-contractual. This item is printed on demand and ships from our printing partners' facility nearest the destination. These facilities are located mainly in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
