8vo. 1837. 422pp. Eps a little foxed with minor damage and small loss to fep where ink inscription has been crudely effaced. Small bookseller's catalogue entry to upper glued to paste-down. t.p. slightly marked, general light browning to pages and light, sporadic foxing throughout. Fore-edges dusty. Good in orginal cloth. Corners bumped and lacking spine. Fair. Published by subscription for the benefit of the widow and family of Edward Smedley and 'contains contributions by most of the best known poets of the day.including several by Tennyson not found elsewhere' and Wordsworth (a subscriber for 2 copies), Landor, Moore and Southey. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
