Written by Sandeep Chavan, this insightful book explores India's pivotal role as a mediator, balancer, and emerging global leader amidst the superpower rivalry between China and the United States.
The book examines how India navigates its relationships with two of the most influential nations in the world. By analyzing India's strategic autonomy, diplomatic engagements, and economic strategies, Chavan sheds light on the country's ability to balance its partnerships with the U.S. and China while advancing its own national interests. This balancing act is not merely a survival tactic but a reflection of India's growing stature in global geopolitics.
Drawing on a comprehensive analysis of trade, technology, and diplomacy, The Triangular Dynamics highlights India's initiatives in reshaping global supply chains, fostering innovation, and championing sustainability. From the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes to the International Solar Alliance, the book showcases India's efforts to redefine its economic and environmental responsibilities on the global stage.
Chavan also explores India's leadership in multilateral platforms like BRICS, the Quad, and the G20, positioning it as a voice for the Global South. The book discusses India's role in addressing critical issues such as climate change, digital governance, and public health, emphasizing its ability to act as a bridge between developed and developing nations.
With a focus on India's strategic location, rich cultural legacy, and ambitious vision for 2030, The Triangular Dynamics outlines a roadmap for the nation to emerge as a key player in a multipolar world. It underscores the importance of resilience, innovation, and inclusive growth in shaping a more equitable and harmonious global order.
Ideal for readers of international relations, political science, and global economics, this book provides a balanced perspective on the challenges and opportunities within the U.S.-China-India triangle.
