Synopsis:

In the ancient Arcadian kingdom of Arivale, the Magi and the Grigori have lived peacefully for many years. Magicians and Elves roam the kingdom freely and without fear, but dark forces surround its borders and secrets are kept from its citizens. Princess Ariadne prepares to complete ‘The Arcadian Trials’. For Ariadne and her classmates this is their final test before graduating. Ariadne’s best friend and confidant, Elda, her twin brother Amir and Issac, a misunderstood centaur join forces to complete the trial, which tests their abilities and knowledge to its limits.

The trial leads the Arcadians into the mortal world where they come across Danny, a human boy who has been kidnapped by pirates. The Arcadians must help Danny complete his quest, which they soon realise has more to do with their people than they could have ever imagined. Learning who they can and can’t trust becomes more difficult. Will they put their quest above their personal feelings and learn to work together despite their differences? And how will Danny’s past affect their futures? Nothing is certain in The Arcadian Trials.
