Teatr etot podnyal svoj magicheskij zanaves v ikh detstve, prodolzhilsya v yunosti, a zatem s massoj slozhnostej i, kazalos by, nepreodolimykh prepyatstvij dostig vershin v zrelom vozraste, poblizhe k kontsu XX veka. I to li vse eto, to li eshche chto-to, poka chto nam nevedomoe, nazyvala Faina Georgievna Ranevskaya sudba-shlyukha. Otzyv smeshnoj, ironichnyj, gorkij i tragikomicheskij. Tak do sikh por i ne razgadano, chto imela v vidu eta genialnaya aktrisa i filosof. Navernoe, to, chto eta samaya sudba perespat mozhet s kazhdym, no nikogda ne raskroet tajny svoej do kontsa, zachem ona eto sdelala. Intriga, takim obrazom, sokhranyaetsya.
