Blue cloth with dark blue lettering and embossed vignette of a collie to the front board. Spine and top edge sunned. Bump to head and heel of spine. Previous owner inscription to front pastedown. Text is clean and bright, no marks, evenly tanned. DJ shows loss to head and heel of spine and tips of corners, rubbing and small chips and tears to edges, light general scuffing. Lovely cover art. "Treve, a golden-tawny collie of the Dos Hermanos sheep ranch, is the hero of this book, in which a stray sheep and would-be dog thief, rustler and a sheep-killing wolf also play a prominent part."
