Paperback. Loyalty and respect are two things that The Goons don't play about. In fact, it's their way of life and Monica "Trenches" Jones has never forgotten it. Newly released from serving time for a crime she didn't commit, Monica has questions--mainly for her ex, Fresh, who all but disappears as soon as she steps back into the free world. While The Goons welcome Monica back with open arms, something tells her to watch her back. Every time she turns around, new revelations prove that friends are enemies and blood means nothing. Armani "Baby" Arnold left the streets in pursuit of being the best-known DJ and producer in the music industry. When a childhood friend asks him to host a party, Armani doesn't hesitate to say yes. What he didn't expect was to lay eyes on Monica. Intrigued by the streetwise beauty, Armani can't help pursuing her. Her strong and unbreakable persona is only one layer of the woman that he finds himself falling for. The streets are a dangerous place. They will eat you up and spit you out without thinking twice. Love has no place there, especially a new love. But what the streets never took into consideration was Baby and the love he had for Trenches. This item is printed on demand.
