Orange textured boards w/black lettering. Mild wear head and heel of spine, previous owner signature to front pastedown. Text is clean, tight, bright, no marks, lightly and evenly tanned. The sixth book in a series dealing with problems of human happiness. "It is a character study. May I mention, by way of apologia, that I have not hesitated to reveal the character of Gordon Tremayne in all its naked ugliness; otherwise the full nature of his redemption would be missed." (from the author's note).
