From the Publisher
A classic for gardeners in western North America, this book was originally created by the author to show customers at his garden center what woody plants available in the trade would become in some years’ time. Well, the future is here, and the plants pictured in these pages are now widely available at nurseries around the country. Gardeners and landscapers have also found this book uniquely useful for its photographs of mature plants in real landscape settings.
