- Book 4 of 8: Collins Watch Guide
As a new addition to the successful Collins Natural History Watch Guide series, this book will introduce more aspects of natural history to children between the ages of 7 and 13.
Collins Watch Guides are an indepth exploration of a small habitat or category of plants or animals. The goal is not to be exhaustive, but to educate the eye. The books explain how to interpret a habitat, how to spot the closer details and give hints on discovering the richness of life in your garden and the local countryside.
This book is attractively presented, with lively fold-out pages to aid immediate reference. Illustrated throughout in colour and black and white, the book is also laminated, which allows the user to take it anywhere outdoors without the risk of spoiling it. Spiral binding allows easy handling and use.
