4-15/16" x 7-3/16", viii + 135pp. Printed on acidic paper and bound in sewn signatures in red buckram cloth boards. Title block / design stamped in black on front panel. Moderate reading / shelf wear, edge wear to cover, the corners are bumped and the spine is darkened / age discolored. Binding is square and tight. Gutter is split after title page. Pages are gently age toned but clean and unmarked.

Canada's oldest independent bookstore, the People's Co-operative Bookstore Association was formed in 1945 by a broad coalition of Vancouver's progressive movements, from trade unionists and Marxists to social democrats and Christian social justice activists. Owned and operated by its member-shareholders, it is a registered co-op operating under the Co-operative Associations Act of British Columbia. Anyone can join. Since 1983, the People's Co-op Bookstore has been located at 1391 Commercial, in the heart of Commercial Drive.
