The Transported Soul: A Journey to You was written from the heart to bring hope, comfort, and understanding to others who have walked through similar pain. With honesty and compassion, Maria Certo shares her own path of healing so that readers can find guidance, connection, and inspiration in theirs. This powerful memoir reminds every survivor that transformation is possible and that love and peace can be reclaimed.
The Transported Soul is a deeply personal, uplifting story about moving from pain to peace. Through self-reflection, courage, and spiritual growth, Maria invites readers to rediscover their own strength, release old patterns, and reconnect with the truth of who they are. Her journey shows that healing is not only possible—it can become a source of empowerment and self-love.
More than a memoir, this book is a compassionate companion for anyone seeking wholeness after hardship. Maria writes about forgiveness, courage, and faith with a tone that is gentle, reassuring, and practical. Her story becomes a mirror for others, showing that even through the darkest experiences, there is a way back to light.
Inside you’ll find:
- Heartfelt reflections that offer wisdom, peace, and strength.
- Encouragement to let go of shame, quiet the inner critic, and choose self-respect.
- Insights on boundaries, trust, forgiveness, and spiritual healing.
- “Soul questions” that help readers look within and move forward with clarity.
- Inspiration to transform old pain into purpose, love, and authentic joy.
Who this book is for:
- Survivors of trauma and anyone on a journey of healing or self-discovery.
- Readers of memoir, spirituality, and personal growth who seek deeper understanding and hope.
- Therapists, counselors, and caregivers looking for a compassionate resource to share with others.
What you’ll take with you: a calmer heart, clearer boundaries, and the courage to walk forward in love. The Transported Soul is a reminder that your story is not over—and that the future can be written in light.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
