It’s finally here–a thorough exploration of the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in the healthcare industry that is detailed, succinct, and easy to read!
There’s no denying the power of artificial intelligence. When taught, programmed, and incorporated correctly, it’s nothing short of a modern miracle. And, thanks to recent technological advancements, it’s now a widely accessible modern miracle.
One simply has to look in their pocket to see proof of it. Phone assistants like Siri and Alexa, intuitive AI chatbots like Snapchat, Zendesk, and Google Bard, and powerful AI image generators like Midjourney and DALL-E are all available to the general public.
We are truly on the cusp of unlocking AI’s full potential.
It should come as no surprise, then, that the healthcare industry is looking to integrate AI into many of its current processes and procedures. Things like record management, medical imaging, and data interoperability are just some examples of healthcare aspects that can be optimized and improved with the use of AI.
So what do healthcare professionals, administrators, and patients stand to gain from the power of AI?
And is it really as simple as it seems?
This book seeks to answer those questions–and more!
Aside from a detailed explanation of the current and potential role of AI in healthcare procedures and management, this book will teach you:
- How patients can benefit from full AI integration in healthcare
- The challenges and ethical limitations AI faces that keep it from full incorporation into the system
- The risks and rewards of AI integration into healthcare systems
- What interoperability is – and its undeniable importance in modern healthcare
- 3 real-life case studies of companies using AI to greatly improve their products and services
- What is personalized healthcare–and why is it necessary?
- The most common patient complaints about healthcare service and treatment… and how AI can be the solution to these complaints
- The importance of quality control with respect to training/programming AI for healthcare data management
- The question of ethics and sustainability when it comes to long-term AI use in healthcare
- Suggested stop-gap measures and long-term fail-safes to ensure AI is properly managed and guided
- Easy-to-read explanations and a glossary of the most common terms regarding AI in healthcare – from machine learning to natural language processing, and more
And much more.
With ideas and insights from industry experts and thought leaders, this book bridges the gap between AI technology and healthcare practice.
Whether you’re a patient, healthcare professional, administrator, or decision-maker, this book equips you with the knowledge and tools needed to understand and leverage AI for a sustainable healthcare future.
