Paperback octavo, very good condition, edges little foxed, top spine little scuffed, minor edgewear, tiny remainder spot top edge. 356 pp. Drawing on modern psychology and psychiatry, as well as the world's great meditative traditions, Ken Wilber, Jack Engler and Daniel P. Brown present the first full-spectrum model of human development - one that includes both the conventional stages of psychological growth and the higher levels of spiritual development. An excellent presentation of the stages of mindfulness meditation as well as the consequential spectrum of psychopathology. These classic essays (Shambhala Publications, 1986) by the three editors, plus a few other contributors, emphasize that levels of meditative development are still not widely known partly because so few people have ventured deeply into meditation.
