(Nightstand Book NB 1703) Reprints NB1553. Uncommon sleaze paperback by Lawrence Block. Poor/Fair condition. Price inked over, ink price stamp. Binding delicate. Some loose pages (but intact). Some toning./ fading to edges. Cover copy: FOUR WILD GIRLS in a trailer. Four girls who practiced the oldest profession known to women. Four girls who were ruled by a lust passion that demanded they ruin the town of Coldwater and its inhabitants. The first was Jan, who had lost her trailer-camp soldier-husband to a teen-aged town sexpot. Jan vowed to make the town, the trailer camp and particularly her husband, regret what they had done to her. Second and third were Marna and Andrea, one a voluptuous blonde, the other a petite brunette, but both lesbians, who embraced men for the money and each other for love. Last was Lizzie, the Negro who was almost a junkie, who gave her body because she thought she was dirt. All four of them on personal vendettas ON A PASSION RIDE! First paragraph(s): AN PARTRIDGE, THE FORMER MRS. JACK APPLETON, rode a Greyhound bus from Laredo to San Antonio. A puddle-jumping airplane carried her from San Antonio to Houston, where she waited for an hour before carrying her single small suitcase onto a jet liner bound nonstop for New York. She sipped gin-and-tonic on the air-plane, left her seat belt fastened for the duration of the flight, and deplaned in a state bordering on intoxication at Idlewild International Airport.
