This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Trading Activity in the Indian Stock Markets Indian stock market scenario has undergone tremendous changes in the last 20 years. Establishment of the National Stock Echange (NSE) in early 1990s was a major catalyst for this change. Prior to this period, the Bombay Stock Exchange has dominated the scene for over a century. The technological advances in trading, settlement and clearing have aided the NSE in gaining a foothold and later dominating the trading scenario in India. This present study provides a historical account of the changes that occurred across the value chain of a stock market in early 1990s. Indian stock markets have seen major developments in institutional infrastructure as well as policy changes during this period. 236 pp. Englisch.
