About Traces of Radanicki
More than booksellers we are lovers and creators of words, images, imagination, fantasy, dreams and passionate believers of the opportunities we have as a united, symbiotic and interdependent, plant, animal and human species to integrate and cooperate in building an almost unimaginably fairer, more thriving, lived and loved existence. Nestled in with us in our little Hackney studio cum home, it seems at times in every nook and cranny, is our collection of books, curated over decades of trawling shops, markets and sometimes streets. Along with our passion for creating and finding books and art, that fill us with inspiration even if it is at times only a single paragraph, sketch or image, is the belief that they can go on to inspire others, provoke thought, laughter, ideas, love, tears and so much more. This is why we decided to attempt a foray into the online world of selling books and art to share and offer, almost begrudgingly but necessarily so, for money, some of what we have been creating and start to, albeit precariously so, create, gather and share more in the hope that we can, in a very humble and small way, make a difference to the things that we see and feel could be so much better. We really think books and art can change and create differently meaningful worlds and the lives of all immersed in and through it. Our approach, maybe a little chaotic, even un business like, not something we are too sad about, is to list our bibliographic inspirations, one tiny morsel at at time, one way or another, creating, we hope, an offering that not only sustains us and what better way we thought than through the joint love we all share for books and art, but that equally offers you something that you believe can make a difference for you and others. No different to any other book seller, whatever their motivation, we have the customer at heart and we will endeavour to describe each book as genuinely as possible and get it to you as quickly as we can. Furthermore we will look to find and in some cases rescue more books that mean something to us, that can temporarily grace our budding library and hopefully go on to flourish further and therefore we hope you check regularly for our latest offerings.
