What comes into your mind when you think about God? A.W. Tozer believed this was the most important thing about you. In these pages he sets out to lift that thought higher than you ever imagined it could go.
This powerful book gathers Tozer's most searching writing on the holiness of God and pairs every chapter with a thoughtful ""Exploring with Tozer"" reflection and a set of ""Reflect and Apply"" questions designed for personal study, small groups, and quiet mornings with an open Bible. You will move from the fear of God to the beauty of holiness, from the wrath of God to the tender mercy hidden inside it, from worship that has lost its wonder to a living, breathing communion with the Father.
Tozer pulls no punches. He confronts the comfortable, half-asleep Christianity of our day and calls readers back to reverence, repentance, and the manifest presence of God. Yet every hard word is aimed at one gracious end: that you would know God as He truly is, love Him for His excellence, and learn to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Inside this book you will discover:
- A vision worthy of God: how a low view of Him quietly corrupts worship, doctrine, and daily living, and how to recover the awe you were made for
- The true meaning of holiness: not a grim list of rules but moral wholeness and likeness to God Himself
- The manifest presence: the difference between being merely present with God and consciously enjoying His face turned toward you
- The hidden veil: what still keeps sincere believers from God's presence, and the path to tear it away
- Preparing for heaven: how God uses discipline, testing, and even the furnace to ready His children for glory
Whether you are a seasoned believer or hungry for something deeper than Sunday routine, this Christian classic will reawaken your awe and reshape your walk.
Begin your deep dive into the majesty of God today. Add this book to your cart and start reading tonight.
