Description: Dust jacket design by Robert Fillie. The publisher's blurb reads: ''Martyn Finch, well known for his paintings of skyscapes, was tired of painting them, however successfully. He and a girl named Katey went to Segovia to vacation, while he looked for fresh artistic inspiration. Then, when he was only momentarily not looking at Katey, she vanished, with his car and all his possessions. Eventually he found a note from her: 'We will catch up with you at Madrid . Or Valencia if we miss you at Madrid.' He couldn't imagine who 'we' were. So begins this swift, knowledgeable, often funny novel of international art forgery.'' BINDNG/CONDITION: light blue binding with black at the spine; a Near Fine book, with a Very Good dust jacket; publisher's price on the jacket flap is intact. Printed endpapers. 8vo (about 8.5 inches tall). 247 pages.
