Review
From the reviews:
"This book, edited by P. Ochsner, from Liestal, presents a comprehensive overview of the technique of total hip arthroplasty ... . Overall, this book presents history and ... it provides a wealth of information, clearly showing the benefit to be expected from a well-designed and well-run documentation system. It represents a tribute to the outstanding contribution of the Bernese school to hip arthroplasty ... ." (R. Lemaire, Acta Orthopaedica Belgica, Vol. 71 (1), 2005)
"The Swiss School, under the impulsion of M.E. Müller, has led since 1984 an inventory work of the total hip replacements. This work directed by P.E. Ochsner constitutes a digest of the acquired experience, fruit of a long human but also industrial cooperation. ... The choice of the illustrations realized in a constant concern of clarity and attraction participates to the success of the presentation. This work constitutes an authentic success and must be considered as a work basis for surgeons ... ." (Laurent Balabaud, European Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery & Traumatology, Vol. 13 (3), 2003)
