A well-maintained bike is a pleasure to ride - and is far less likely to break down. And with bike sales booming, more and more people need to know how to keep their prized machine in great condition. The Total Bike Maintenance Book is a comprehensive guide to keeping all the main types of bike - road, hybrid and mountain - in tip-top condition. Every area of bike maintenance and repair is covered, using step-by-step photos and accompanying text, to create a straightforward, easy-to-understand manual that will prove invaluable to any cycling enthusiast.
Written by a leading expert, the book is broken down into each mechanical area of the bike, providing assistance, tips and trouble-shooting ideas for every problem that may arise. The book covers everything from simple repairs to more complex maintenance using tools ranging from those needed for a side-of-the-road repair to expert-level wheel-building. Whatever the symptom, The Total Bike Maintenance Book provides the solution.
