About the Author: Rabbi Jeffrey M. Cohen has distinguished himself in the field of religious affairs as a broadcaster, lecturer, writer and reviewer. A graduate of the Yeshivot of Manchester and Gateshead, and Jews' College, London, Rabbi Cohen received a master's degree in philosophy from London University and a PhD from Glasgow University. He is the author of several books, including 500 Questions and Answers on Chanukah, as well as over 200 articles. He is a former member of the cabinet of the Chief Rabbi of Great Britain. He also served as the Rabbi of Stanmore and Canons Park Synagogue, the largest Orthodox congregation in Great Britain, prior to retirement. He and his wife Gloria have four children and twelve grandchildren.
