He became a staple on the sports desk at BBC Radio Bristol, fronting the station's sports shows. With a reputation for a no-nonsense approach with players and managers of both Bristol clubs, he went onto win the respect of the red half of the city, and continued to entertain with his brilliant sports coverage over the next three decades.Top Man is Geoff Twentyman's life story, a quite remarkable journey - from pitch to gantry - and a testimony to a man who was able to unite blue and red in Bristol through their love of sport.
