The second book from Fleece Press on the work of graphic artist, Barnett Freedman. It contains a new selection of the artist's work, in colour and b&w, either printed directly into the book, or tipped-in (including 10 folding), including ephemeral items, photographs of his posters on hoardings and on display in Lyons Corner Houses, paintings in public ownership, student work from the early 1920s. Limited to 330 copies, this is one of the 90 SPECIAL editions of the book, which includes an original lithographic Christmas card housed in a pocket inside the rear board. This copy also includes a slipcase. Hardcover, size: 8.5" x 12", p.140, red buckram spine, with a beautiful Freedman patterned paper covering front & rear boards. A very attractive book.
