This imaginative novel inspires children's creativity!Reading exciting, wholesome fantasy fosters happy kids and develop their minds as thinkers.
Author Dr. Judith rolfs is an educator and a family counselor. Her studies in psychology were focused on developing creativity in children. She knows children's needs and emotions and uses her highly imaginative writing to develop children’s morality and creativity.
“Children can be taught to have a flourishing imagination,” according to Rolfs. “Exciting, entertaining story, yes, it's important,” she says, “but children also need memorable moral messages about dealing with difficult situations in life." She provides both in Tommy Smurlee and the Missing Statue.
Praised for the solid messages of integrity and concern for others this book promotes in boys and girls. As suspense mounts, Tommy and the Silver Team learn lessons about life and friendship they'll never forget.
