The bones of saints. A collector who will kill for them. A thousand-year-old secret buried with the murderers of a martyr.
In 1170, four knights cut down Archbishop Thomas Becket on the stone of Canterbury Cathedral. Banished to the Holy Land in penance, they hid a relic of terrible power, and the secret has been kept ever since.
Now someone is gathering the sacred bones of the dead. The Black Anchorite, hidden within his citadel, sends his agents across Europe to plunder the relics of saints and Magi, piece by piece, for a purpose no one understands.
When the trail of theft and murder reaches ARKANE, Morgan Sierra follows it through the cathedrals and crypts of the old world, from Canterbury to Cologne. But the closer she comes to the Black Anchorite, the clearer it becomes that he is close to completing his collection, and to unleashing what the knights died to hide.
Can Morgan stop him before the last relic is claimed?
Perfect for fans of Dan Brown and James Rollins, Tomb of Relics is the twelfth ARKANE thriller, and can be read as a standalone.
